Graduate degree before law school.

Hello, I had some doubts on the Graduate degree I should pursue before entering law school. My goal is to enter politics. I did not enter law school right out of undergrad due to my age, I felt like I wasn't ready for such a commitment. I received an AA of liberal arts when I was 17, a BA on police administration at 19 and currently enrolled in a MA in criminology. I still have an opportunity to switch my major to Master in public administration. Do any of you believe I should make that switch, would it benefit me career wise and increase my chances of a good law school?

Seems like an MPA would qualify one for more opportunities than an MA in Criminology.
Not sure about its effect on law school admissions. Might help if you have relevant work experience & want to go to law school to pursue further work in this area.
P.S. OP: Your opening post in this thread is a bit confusing. You ask whether or not you should pursue a graduate degree, then write that you are currently enrolled in a master's program.

OP: If you want to get into politics, then a Master's Degree in Public Administration is probably a better option than a MA in Criminology simply because any relevant work experience should help you to gain real world public administration experience which is essentially what politicians are elected to do/oversee.

My friend who got an MPA is doing a lot more in politics (he is pretty high up in the campaign of one of the democratic hopefuls for president) than anyone I know from the last 3 years of law school.

Saw a stat that said half or 1/3rd of Congress has a law degree. Law can be a step towards politics.

Thank you for your advice. And in regards to experience for my Law application, if I decide to go. I have worked at the District Courts for most of my undergrad, obtained an 12 week internship with Homeland Security under FLETC and have an interview with the Office of the Governor. Hope everything goes as planned.
