Top Law Schools

Hey guys. One of my friends recently graduated college with a political science degree and is interested in becoming a paralegal before going to law school. I have never sought out paralegal work so I am not sure it works. So how did you guys find employment as paralegals?

Many, maybe most, paralegals at the nation's largest law firms are recruited from among the elite colleges & universities. Small law firms often advertise when seeking a new or additional paralegal.

Thanks, I had no clue. I went to a good state university, think SEC or Big Ten (or Twelve), and never once saw a paralegal firm at college job fairs although I looked for their participation. I guess some schools are better at it then others.
