Where Do You Do Must of Your Studying?

Visited two law schools so far and have seen how they have these 24/hour law libraries, where there are personalized study cubicles for individual law students scattered throughout the buildings. My first thought was: cool. Must be nice to have your own study space privately reserved for you alone.
But then upon closer inspection, I saw how cramped and tightly packed those cubicles were to each other and how students were literally a few inches away from their neighbors studying. ....I wondered if that ever got annoying or became distracting.
Anyhow, just curious where you guys study and find to be the best place(s)? Pros/cons?
Do you guys actually prefer those law library cubicles? Funny enough I saw a couple of students sleeping in their cubicle area and some eating full blown meals with stacks of books next to them and their own coffee maker. haha. Kind of like a live-in space for them.
edit: I can't type tonight...title should be *most*
