Is it that you took out too much debt?
Is it because you just don't know how to hack it at a demanding job?
Did you go into the wrong practice area?
Did you not have enough sense to avoid the Nightmare Partner?
Can you just not figure out how to negotiate deadlines with senior associates, you big dummy?
Do you not understand how much money you're really making?
Do you not get you only have to hang on a few years and then feast on those sweet sweet exits?

They picked the wrong market. LA is much more chill than NYC/DC. Everyone knows that.

I like the butthurt baiting. But are there enough BigLaw defenders on TLS to troll with this? Or are you just trying to smoke out some sad associates and make them sadder? I'm down with either.

They never worked before and don't realize that everybody works the same hours but for half the pay. Everybody.

Arguably the most important function of this site is to help 0L's make an informed law school decision. these questions are very pertinent to that.

Consoling biglaw associates who hate their jobs comes secondary....
