What is the value of school prestige x years after grad?

I'm deciding between a lower t14 and a t20. I've already got a job in line after graduation but 4-5 years on I'll be looking to transition to firm/big law work. Is there long term prestige in a higher ranked school or is the value in that ticket to OCI?

Thanks in advance for any input.

People give less fucks the older they get. People who still think in terms of prestige in their forties are usually really unhappy republicans that cheat on their spouses.

The law school you went to always matters but it's less important over time

What is this job that you have guaranteed as a 0L that you can use to transition into big law after 5 years?

If your path is already pre-ordained I would just go to whichever is cheapest

x = {q + [q2 + (r-p2)3]1/2}1/3 + {q - [q2 + (r-p2)3]1/2}1/3 + p

where

p = -b/(3a), q = p3 + (bc-3ad)/(6a2), r = c/(3a)
