Top Law Schools

This fucking sucks. Not worth it at all. Go to silcon valley u nerds.

I wasn't going to pay $300k, but I still left law school. Listen to the man, prospective law students. Think long and hard about your decision to go to law school.

if not free, how much money would someone have to give you to go to law school/become a lawyer, knowing what you know now

I wouldn't go for free, but it's not as bad of a choice. You can cop some decent legal jobs if you have nodebt. But you are still a broke ass middle middle class bro. Any job that pays a lot sucks.

If I'm going to make 75k, I'd rather be an engineer.

If I was some art history major, it's probably not a terrible deal with NO DEBT.

But no debt requires mommy and daddy to pay roughly 70-100k in living expenses.

Or even with that price tag + no big law + decent legal job = mid class bro, which you could have done w/o law school.

Seems like the theme here is to do it without debt so you aren't beholden to the money.

Although it still sounds like you hate the job itself.

You either need to do big law, which fucking sucks, or you are still middle or lower middle class working some generic legal job. Which aren't even stable. I'd rather be a rando corporate monkey.

Meh. I like being a lawyer.

But I have no idea what the fuck I paid for. I'm just now getting over the harm to my self-discipline caused by 3 years of dicking around until exam time, drinking away my loan money, and scrambling hard exam time. I guess I learned some shit, but not $60k a year worth.

If it wasn't for the different avy and the 60K a year part, I'd probably have figured I messed around, got drunk and posted this last semester.

Glad I'm not the only one living life on the edge.

I'm not working big law, but I also find that a part of me dies on the inside each day I go to work. This is mostly due to the fact that I'm studying for the bar exam in another jurisdiction. It will get better after a year, right?

It could be worse.

You could be billing 2.2k hrs a year ticking and tying financial statements while making 80k like me.
