"Coolest" LS

Which T14 has the coolest bros (not flame-serious question) I'm thinking the ivy's are full of nerdy/elitist/gunner/arrogant types. Duke, UVA, and Michigan seem like they would have the most normal ppl. Who i'm surrounded by is going to have a big effect on my happiness.

I think Duke would be perfect for you.

of course someone would get offended, I can tolerate douches more than elitists though. thank you for that helpful link.

Normal people don't use the word "aspy."

The real answer is that you will find people you like at every school. You should decide based on placement and scholarships.

the cross-admission and matriculation between people at "ivy" law schools and non-ivy law schools negates any semblance of the distinction you're trying to draw here. students at cornell and northwestern, penn and virginia, columbia and chicago, or yale and stanford won't break down along any of those pejoratives

the obviousness of this observation makes it very likely this post is a flame

I mean if you can't handle elitists then you're not going to like law school or the legal profession.

If you can get into a t-14 and are worried that much about the elitist aspy types, just go to University Alabama or one of the Mississippi law schools on a full ride scholarship and don't deal with us northern elitist a-holes. I'm sure the laid back southern elitist a-holes are going to be more tolerable.

Seriously, why is this even a consideration worth giving a single thought to? All you should care about is getting into the best law school that places in the market you most want to work in with the largest scholarship possible. Anything after that is a waste of time considering.

It won't change my decison, just curious to see what y'all thought. As for attending miss or Alabama, not a snowballs chance in hell. Talk about douchiness, don't get me started lol.however if I had similar $ from Michigan and cornell, I'd probably choose michigan based off what I've heard about the ppl.

I mean at any of these schools there is going to be an overwhelming elitist bent

Go where the money is, and if you have a few comparable options then go see how you feel at ASW

Yeah this is the way to do it. Instead of speculating based on stereotypes, go to the schools and interact with the current students and your future classmates.

Ole Miss calls themselves the Harvard of the South for a reason.

I'm just not sure the reason

I toured NYU today but everyone was pretty deep in the books. No one looked interested in chatting. All in all i got a good vibe though. It was much better than i was expecting. Ignorance is my problem as i've never seen any top schools in the flesh before.

Better than you were expecting in what way though? I'm somewhat confused as to what you're getting at.
