They weren't especially helpful, IMO. BTW, it's possible your library has them on reserve.

I thought they were great. I used them for pretty much every exam I could get them for (1L, 2L, and 3L) and I think they helped me a lot. I really liked that they don't just test rules and elements, but they also have ton of little hypos that helped me understand different concepts. Different things work for different people, so you might think they're great or a total waste of money, but I'd recommend them.

I also thought they were pretty helpful. It's just a way to get the black letter shit down tight.

I guess my problem with them was that the Property and K cards used a lot of different vocabulary from what my profs used (even though they were the same topics), and the Civ Pro (at least two years ago) was out of date because civ pro seems to get that way if you wait two months. Torts was pretty good. I didn't try Crim Law, Con Law, or Biz Orgs.

I liked them as a secondary review tool. If I got time, and had blown through class notes, outlines, e&e already, and any practice tests, I'd use em. Some are better than others, because it kind of depends on what was taught in your class and how.

I'd divide them up into smaller stacks with rubber bands, and whip out a mini stack on the bus/subway to use that time wisely.

They were also good for talking it out with a friend when you reach that point where you just can't stare at any outline or book any longer and want to have real human interaction.

I'd usually get the next oldest set used on Amazon for cheap cheap cheap.

Good to know--- older versions are still useful? I have found some from 2008 (as opposed to 2012) and that just seems a bit outdated. Thoughts? Anyone selling their 1L cards and willing to ship? I just find $200 a lot for a set of flashcards...

This depends on the class. Something like contracts should be fine, but classes like crim pro change a lot with new SCOTUS cases every year.
