The young one has a question...

What salary could I expect on average if i were to graduate from Yale Law School in the top 30% of my class? I would be either interested in working as a high-lvl corporate lawyer, or as a civil litigator connected to a large law firm. Also, what would the expected time frame to be made a partner in a top (trial law) firm?

This is the wrong place on TLS for this question, as this is the personal statement section...
That said, this is a somewhat nonsensical question. Yale doesn't really have grades, so top 30% doesn't really exist. Anyone can get BL from there though, starting is 160k in major markets. Partner has nothing to do with what school you went to, don't be pretentious.

top trial firm?
name is "matt"? decidedly unprestigous, so be ready to lateral in-house and never make partner

Alright, srry, this is my first time on this website so i'm still getting used to the forum and am not entirely sure how it works. I'll be sure to be more careful under which forum i post my questions in the future. And no, my name is not Matt, i simply have numerous names i go by when online to be sure of identity protection (paranoid i know, but my father is ex-special forces intelligence and is currently working for nsa... i learned a few too many habits from him i think)

You know an awesome way to protect your identity? Giving out personal details.
