Question about the examsoft snafu...
Curious 0L here: I was telling my parents last night about the bar exam screw-up that led to a lot of neurosis/stress/lost sleep for many bar exam takers last week. Having both taken the bar exam decades ago, they did not understand why/how people left testing centers without submitting their exams. I did not have an answer and after some research could not find one. If anyone out there can explain how this works, it would be appreciated. Again, just curious, I clearly know little to nothing about how the bar is administered.

No ethernet/wifi in warehouses or airplane hangars and cell phones aren't permitted to create a hotspot

The examsoft software locks in your answers at the end of the test. Then you leave and have to upload them by a certain time that night. Some state upload on-site, others its up to you

I feel like the bar should reimburse me for the $15 I had to pay for access to the internet at my hotel.

Seriously? There are hotels in the states that still don't provide free WiFi?MoneyMay wrote:I feel like the bar should reimburse me for the $15 I had to pay for access to the internet at my hotel.

Free wifi is still the domain of the budget and mid-level properties. Top-level properties reserve free wi-fi for customers with loyalty program elite status or as a giveaway for managers who need to make up for some shortcoming. e.g. Hilton Garden Inn = free wifi; Hilton = free wifi for gold and platinum hhonors members.jbagelboy wrote:Seriously? Yeah any hotel that serves a lot of business customers are going to charge for wifi because they know it'll get expensed every time.
