Top Law Schools

I am a rising 3l at UT. I'm still waiting on one grade but I have a 4.0 for the semester and a 3.7 overall. I am also a transfer student (top 5% at TTT for 1l). This summer I am a "summer associate" at a straight mid law firm in my home state of Louisiana. I don't know if they will offer anyone as they just hired 3 new associates. Obviously, I need to do my best work here and hope to get a job. Besides that, what can I do be doing right now to secure gainful employment upon graduation? I have heard 3l oci does not exist...I might apply to some flyover district fed clerkships in my hometown area but, as a transfer student, it's doubtful. So I come to TLS for advice....
3.7 should be around top 15% ish at UT if they count transfers in the ranks...
