Aviation Law

Full disclosure: 0L posting
I have an interest (obsession?) with aviation, particularly commercial aviation. Think like reading WorldAirlineNews.com every day and studying route maps and knowing obscure aircraft facts. It's strange, but just my thing. Whatever. Judge away, I judge myself. I understand vaguely that there is work out there in some large firms, in-house and with federal govt (FAA). A few questions I have:
1. What firms are known for their aviation practices? Anyone have insights into any of them?
2. What are some differences and pros/cons to different areas within aviation in private practice (in-house or firm) - regulation, labor law, financing, etc.
3. Is this too niche to want to get into? Am I shooting for the stars? Going to H in the fall, so not sure if that could change the 'shooting for the stars' factor.
4. Even if yes above, what might be a good route to take in terms of SA's, 1L internships, classes, etc?
Thanks for any input!
