Best MAC computer for law school?

I'm set on getting a MAC for law school but I'm debating on which model to spring for. Would anyone be willing to endorse their computer or make an argument for why one model is better than another? Has anyone found themselves using software that may be on a MacPro but not on a MacAir? Any help or insight would be appreciated

You're not gonna do well in school or be cool if you don't get the most expensive one

All you need to be able to run in law school is your exam software, Microsoft Word, OneNote, and Chrome.

So, to make sure your computer can handle these processor-taxing programs, I would stick with the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. http://store.apple.com/us/buy-mac/macbo ... tep=config

It wouldn't hurt to also get a PC, an iPad, and to make sure you have both an iPhone and an Android device as well.

But, really, it doesn't matter. If you're really set on getting an overpriced Mac, then get the cheapest one they sell. It's going to work fine for law school.

I have a 13 inch MacBook Pro and it works fine. I regret however not having the Air b/c it is light and I commute on foot.

I would recommend the AIR.
