PC vs. Mac Computer

I'm in the process of deciding what new computer to buy for my first year. I'm debating between a regular PC and a Mac. On my Universities website it says they are a windows based University, but they also mention you are able to get the technology you need for a Mac. Also, I am told that most students use a Mac.
What are everyone's thoughts on the two computers? Pros and cons of each? Which would you recommend?

Moved to appropriate forum. The law student forum is not for 0Ls.
Doesn't matter. Use whatever you want.

If your university allows you to use either, get the one you want and are better at using (if price is a big factor, get a PC). Don't base a decision on wanting to fit in or some bullshit.

Oh, I apologize. I was just wanting advise from actual law students given you all have more insight on what would be better than myself, a 0L, based on your experiences in law school. My apologies.

That is what this forum that I have moved the thread to (the "Ask a Law Student/Grad" forum) is for.
