General thoughts on LEEWS?

I noticed a lot of older TLS guides (2009-2011) recommend LEEWS, but it seems ppl started to stray away from it. Does anyone know why? Does anyone still highly recommend using this during 0L Prep?

because 0L prep is dumb. if you want to get an idea of what law school exams are about there are plenty of threads on tls for free.

I think LEEWS can be usueful if you know nothing about the law. Some people really don't and in that case it might help you out the first few weeks of law school so you won't be stressed. I really didn't like their premise counter premise method, but it was nice to take a few concepts from them and combine them with the guides available on TLS. If you have some extra time I don't think it would hurt you at all and could possibly help.

Asking for a consensus here is ambitious. My two cents: I did LEEWS, thought it was helpful, and would recommend it to others (if for no other reason than to get a feel for the prep/exam process), but it isn't the end all be all. At the end of the day, know how your professor tests and prepare for their style/what they want.

100% agree with this.
