Top Law Schools

So lately I've been getting a lot of experience in the courtroom as I have been working at my local DA's office. When I'm not in court, I'm assisting the attorneys with orders, doing a little research here and there and I really like the idea of becoming a prosecutor in my hometown to serve my community. I know the pay isn't the greatest but I'd want to do this for more than just money. In my hometown DA's start at around $40k a yr with competitive benefits (amazing health care, pension, life insurance, solid hours that aren't going to keep you at the office too late on a regular basis eventhough it does happen at times, etc) any other pros/cons any prosecutors can think of? Advice on how pursuit working as one after law school? Thanks in advance!
