Austin Price Carter = offer in the South (arrange them how you like)
You could also throw in a Peyton (Peyton Manning is a good quarterback, a good leader, tall, and even funny - appeared on SNL)

I would call myself Slate if I were a man. Alternatively, use a last name that sounds like a first name. Like Harrison Smith, or something like that.

Re: Should I change my name?
I'm thinking about changing my name, too, and going with two first names (three is a bit much). I think the first name should be bland, but the second should smack of old money - Winterbourne, Hawthorne, etc
Somebody you can trust your important legal matter with. Would you hand over your shit to Rico Smalley or Brigitte Scanlan, fuck no.
My surname is english, I'll probably tack the 'e' back on to the end of it

Re: Should I change my name?
Three names is good, but statistically I think about 60% of people that go by 3 names have gone on to assassinate someone. Just something to keep in mind.

What about two initials, and then a hyphenated surname?
V. S. Jackson-Brothewaite, VIII

I support this. But can we make them ridiculous innitials, like Q. X. Jackson-Brothewaite?justonemoregame wrote:What about two initials, and then a hyphenated surname?

I think I'm actually going to name my potential future son that name. Or maybe a cat.

Re: Should I change my name?
yeah I was going for something semi-recognizable - V.S. Naipaul - to lend some craftiness-by-association. I think if your name captures intelligence, business acumen, and tradition all in one, you could probably add 6-8% on your biglaw chances.Cobretti wrote:I support this. What do you bros think about Rockefeller I. M. Ridley?

Re: Should I change my name?
Thanks for all the replies everyone. Although I've largely reached the same conclusions as those mentioned, it is very reassuring to know that my intuitions match the perspectives of some people on TLS. For now, I'm just going to stick it out and reevaluate my options in the future. I really appreciate all the input, thanks again.
