Have I gone completely bat-shit crazy to think I can land a job in San Diego or SoCal after graduating from a T50 out of state school? While not common, I've heard of San Diego and SoCal firms going to do OCI's at East Coast schools and my thinking is that if I can intern in San Diego/SoCal in the summers, I can hopefully land something later. Also, I have ties. Any advice is very much appreciated, regardless of how sarcastic...just be honest. Thanks!

(I'm asking because I was offered a substantial scholly at 50ish school in LA and NY. Still waiting on some reaches...I would love to go to school and work on the East Coast, but I'm gonna have to move to San Diego/SoCal because of gf/fiancé :( )
Yup

Go to USD on a fully or UCLA/USC with a substantial scholarship or a T14. And don't base your decision on a girlfriend unless she really is a fiancé.

Thanks for the feedback everyone... I think I already knew the answer to my question, just trying to fish for something that isn't there, my real question belongs on a self-help forum lol
