Is this misrepresentation in an addendum?

Suppose you had a couple semesters where your grades were affected due to depression. If you state depression on an addendum, it will likely raise questions and raise a red flag....So is it misrepresentation or wrong, to state that your grades were effected due to healthconcerns? OR could you get in trouble with that because then they would want specifics and require medical records???

that's not misrepresentation, that's just being vague. Vague is good here. No one ever asks for records or follow up.

How much help do you expect to get from this addendum? Keep in mind that the less you say, the less weight they'll give it. ADCOMs will likely never ask for documentation on your condition, but they'll probably just say, "okay, well that explains it." With a vague explanation comes vague advantages, in my opinion.
