New York School of Law - do they still offer the AAMPLE prog
Does anyone know if NYLS offers AAMPLE? I see posts about it but I can't find any information, and I emailed them and got no response. What do you guys think about the school in general?

In his defense it's an awful school. Retake the LSAT.Bdietz1123 wrote:mephistopheles wrote:Bdietz1123 wrote:Does anyone know if NYLS offers AAMPLE? I see posts about it but I can't find any information, and I emailed them and got no response. What do you guys think about the school in general?

Campos on AAMPLE. He equates it to the ninth circle of hell.
NYLS is one of the worst possible schools to attend. It costs more than Harvard, so I believe , and has the unmitigated gall to fly banners saying it is New york's law school.
The outcome, so far, of the lawsuit its own students brought against it for fraud has been:
1. The employment statistics they posted were so obviously false that no sophisticated consumer would have relied on them.
2. On appeal, dismissal of the suit was upheld but strong criticism of the schools lack of ethics were given.
3. A movement has been circulating to bring ethics complaints against the dean and those responsible for posting misleading information based on the court decision. No idea if that will go anywhere.
4. The plaintiffs have asked the court of appeals to reinstate their claims based on the criticism of the ethical standards of the school.
Go there at your own risk. Any student who applies and attends there is on notice about the school's practices based on these lawsuits. You are supposed to be a sophisticated consumer, so you damn well better get the entire story about every school you consider attending.
