For a UCLA Student

Sorry I couldn't find the UCLA taking questions thread...

Is 2.5 considered a stip for a scholarship? Or is it next to impossible to not have a 2.5?

You should drop out if you get a 2.5 at UCLA so I personally wouldn't consider it a stip worth losing. Unless of course you had someone else footing the bill for the rest of your scholarship or you have some weird circumstance where all you need is a law degree.

I think it's 3.3 ish, though that's 1L hearsay.

Seriously though, 2.5 would be dropout worthy. If you received a merit scholarship, you likely will not have to worry about keeping it. Obviously, there are exceptions. If you're truly concerned, you should ask admissions how many students lose their scholarships a year.

Edit: This thread suggests that median is 3.2, though the claim is met with some skepticism.
