Relations Before, During, and/or After Law School/Practice

So say I'm going to end up an attorney working for 60 hours per week minimally.
I'm single, and I'm in undergraduate. There are plenty of hard-working girls in my engineering classes who have a lot of ambition. But that doesn't mean they would understand the demands of an attorney once I became one.
My questions delve into the consideration of these two situations:
(1)
Get one of these girls now, which I think I can do, and date them until I become a lawyer. Then, once they find out what it's really like having a husband gone working all the time, and find out that this isn't what they want, we try to work out our marriage based on our long history of working through problems.
(2)
Stay single now, throughout law school, and until I become a lawyer. That way, while whoever I marry then won't have as long of a history with me, she will know what they are signing up for when she marries me, and, I would assume, would give me fewer problems about working so much.
I was thinking about this the other day while taking a day off. I'm only just now sharing it, and so it may not be as clear as it was on that day. Either way, I thought maybe someone else could share their experiences with the opposite sex before, during and/or after law school/practice.

Yes you can. I'm not talking about true love, here. I'm talking about making an investment in my future with a woman.

Or you could, you know, marry someone because you like them and think they're cool and you want to spend the rest of your life with them.

In which country to you plan to shop for your future wife?
Now we're talking. I'm in the U.S. Currently, we're talking mid-western. Future-wise, think a little more east.

I've heard the law is a jealous mistress. Lord knows I can't handle two of them.

As a male lawyer, you are going to have the problem of attracting women that see you as their ticket to gold coins and riches. This bothers me all of the time. I pray to God that I don't end up with a girl like that who wants me to dedicate my life to paying for the biggest house on the block.

After reading this and your other threads, I recommend either killing yourself or Cooley Law.

Finding a partner who doesn't begrudge your absence is tricky shit. Even if you met someone when you're an attorney, there's no showing they'd be as committed to your job as you are - unless they're a gold-digger and actually are pleased you're gone all day as it gives them ample time to fuck real bros.

This. She will have time for the pool boy and the neighborhood football/basketball stars at the local high school seeking MILF's.
