1. Many RU-C students live in Philly. The PATCO is a straight shot from Philly in to Camden with a stop just a couple blocks from the law school, so it's no big deal if you want to stay in Philly.2LT_CPG wrote:I got into your class but deferred until next August so I could work this year. Few things:
1. Where are you living? I'm in Philly, but right across the river; should I consider a move to Camden or somewhere nearby (where I won't get shot), or am I good staying put?
2. What's the deal with your class' weirdly small size - I know how it happened, but what's the general feeling about what happened among the students and faculty now that you're halfway through the year?
3. Related to #2, does the school expect applications to return to normal now that the merger crisis is settled?
So other than the merger stuff and its implications... mostly normal 1L atmosphere? Good atmosphere, etc?InGoodFaith wrote:1. Many RU-C students live in Philly. 2. Between the merger and a slew of bad press, RU-C's class size got murdered. It didn't help that all of that started around January and persisted through the summer. The administration is convinced it's an anomaly.
3. Yep, they are counting on it or else there will have to be some tough decisions to make.
I'd say so. Obviously can't compare to other schools, but the students are generally chill and give good vibes. If anything, the professors seem to be enjoying the smaller classes, since last year (this year's 2L class) was one of the biggest classes in recent history.2LT_CPG wrote: So other than the merger stuff and its implications... mostly normal 1L atmosphere?
