What does a typical 1L workload look like for the week, including both class time and average study time on the weekdays and weekends?
Also, how much of an ass-kicker is the first semester gonna be?

I find it really manageable so long as you have some ability to get work done and don't fall behind.

Class time = 16-18 hours per week.
Study time = 2-5 hours per day depending on workload.
Weekends = 4-10 hours total depending on how much you want to get done in advance.

I don't outline as I go so I would imagine the amount goes up if you want to do that.
