Top Law Schools

I am writing a thesis (about 50 pages) on a topic of my choice for a Masters degree. I am trying to do the thesis on a legal topic from this list:

I am NOT a law student right now however plan on going to law school next year. I thought that a thesis on a relevant topic for programs that I am interested in at the law schools that I apply to would be a great resume builder.

Any thoughts on this and/or topics that would be plausible without formal knowledge of the law but access and resources to legal texts and persons.

I vote for "Canadians committing crimes abroad." In all seriousness, that page you linked to is a hoax and not to be taken seriously. In any event, there's no good reason for you to write a legal paper at this point. Consider writing an interdisciplinary paper about something in your area of study that effects the law.
