I posted this is the older GW taking questions forum, but I was wondering if you, or any other GW students reading have any advice for these 1L classes/profs:

Civ Pro - Gutman
Torts - Schechter
Contracts - Gabaldon
Crim - Cottrol

Edit: any other general advice for 1Ls who just started at GW? Do you have an idea of what you'll be doing (or a job already) when you graduate? Your friends?
