If a specific judge is not on OSCAR ... Does that mean we cannot apply for clerkship? Or, some judges just do not use OSCAR?

Thanks!

I believe OSCAR lists all the judges. Do you mean not listed or listed but grayed out?

I have noticed some federal judges are not listed at all on Oscar.

Odd. I thought they were all listed, whether or not they had a profile was up to them.

Either way, you can call chambers to check, or just send in an application.

What about if a judge says for example "Not hiring for 2010 season" or "Not hiring" but dated around 2010 or 2011...

Do judges update their profiles regularly?

there are judges who simply do not use oscar. i got my federal clerkship because i actively sought out the judges who only list clerkship openings on their court's website. most people don't know this. look at the court websites...
