Prospective Iowa Law Student here
Can anyone list the firms that are coming to Iowa's OCI this year? Thanks!
This is a big factor in choosing a law school for me. This information would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Nalp only has 3 firms Iowa firms, so not that helpful.
Thought Iowa OCI would qualify for this thread.

Also the number of firms at OCI isn't helpful in itself. You can have a fuckload of firms come to OCI but it won't do you any good if they only want to look at top 10% people. For example I'd bet that GW gets more firms at OCI than Vandy due to proximity. However, firms go deeper into Vandy's class. Number of firms at OCI is not a good measure of your chances at OCI.

+1
We get some firms that say a 3.8 GPA is required for hiring. Ha. That's like top 4%. Counting firms attending is retarded.

I don't want to know HOW many firms. I just want to know the names of the firms. If someone could post a couple/all of them I'd really appreciate it. Thank you

0Ls should not be starting threads in the law student subforums. They definitely should not be using anonymous to bump up their own threads, or make believe more people are interested in it than really are. Cool your heels for a bit.

I was thinking about posting some stats, but that would make you think you could be the narrow exception, so I'll make it simple. If your primary goals are to work at a law firm with more than 25 lawyers and make more than 60k, you should not attend Iowa.

If his/her primary goal is to work at a firm of more than 10 attorneys and make more than $50K, he/she should not attend Iowa.
