What are the top firms in the nation for litigation? What are their differences in culture/practice? Would anyone care to compare the biggest players? (Quinn Emmanuel, W&C, Susman, Bartlit, Kirkland, Skadden, etc).

Im specifically really curious as to what kind of cases each firm specializes in, if anyone can go into detail.

"Top firms" is not a meaningful category really unless you specify plaintiffs or defendants side and what practice area of litigation.

Well I was hoping someone would just take the top 5~10ish Vault biglaw and lit boutique firms and break down their culture, strengths, and weaknesses. Just wanted to get an idea of what each firm is really known for.

Go through chambers and vault profiles. Your asking for quite a bit of information, alot of which you can obtain yourself. Additionally, some of the choices will be subjective and as was said, dependent on the area within litigation.
