What are the areas of law

So I just realized that when people ask me what area of law i want to practice in...i actually dont know that many.

Like I know there's a vague international law category and something called corporate law and something called litigation, but I dont actually know much beyond that.

Could somebody simply list the major areas of law (and ill wiki the rest) and specifically tell me what litigation and corporate law is/entails?

Like, if I want to actually go into court and argue stuff and NOT spend all my time in the office doing paperwork, is that called litigation or just being a trial attorney?

At the firm I work at (large lower V100) these are the practice areas:
Litigation:
Commercial lit
Insurance recovery
White collar crim defense
IP
Tax
Environmental
Regulatory

Corp:
PE
Securities
M&A

Admitably, firm is more lit focused. Perhaps someone from a place that does more corp can illuminate more.

ADR/Arbitration/Negotiation
Bankruptcy Litigation
Bankruptcy Restructuring
Water Law

Elder Law
Energy Law
Entertainment/Sports Law
Matrimonial Law
Immigration
Structured Finance
LGBT Rights
Private Equity
Real Estate
Social Media
Trust & Estates

I apologize if I repeated some of the areas mentioned above.
