Hey all, I saw the flame W&M-er below and figured I would try to rectify whatever damage s/he caused. Let me know if you have any questions!

How much do you hate Williamsburg's bar scene?

ha, what bar scene??

But seriously, yea, there really isn't much of a bar scene here but there is plenty to do and we make the best of it. I had a really big bar scene in undergrad so I wasn't really looking for that in law school. If you are looking for good night life, DC is only 2 hrs away, Richmond and Virginia Beach are each about an hour away. They're far enough to keep you from going too often but close enough to get away for the weekend.

Do you like W&M? Why did you choose to attend?

How competitive are the students?

Have your original opinions of the school changed at all now that you finished 1L?

Thanks.

Mondays are all about those waters and overpriced burgers, bro! Our trivia team name is "The Federalists" and I'll be the one with the green and gold scarf!

wm undergrad'd

ETA: but seriously, Williamsburg actually seems like it'd be nice for law school, especially if you like to bike around (the land is relatively flat, and biking to Jamestown/Yorktown beaches is nice in the spring).
