Is there a C&F issue here at all?

So in filling out my law school apps, under employment history, I included my unpaid internships during college. I realized that I didn't have any exact dates (since my resume had listed years/seasons rather than exact months) so I was mostly guesstimating the exact dates of most of the internships.

If I'm off by a month or two, does that really matter in terms of C&F? Are they going to actually call some of these people to verify dates?

On my real, paid jobs, the information is correct.

Haha ok yes overreaction, but for example, I put September to May for one internship, and in cleaning upnmy e-mails/etc. I noticed that I had stopped working there in March actually.

So it got me worrying that I might have done that with other ones.

Or is the key just to make sure my eventual bar application is consistent with what I put on my LS app?

A lengthy and factually-intensive disclosure, complete with affirmative defense, should clear this up.

If I were you I'd travel to the school to deliver it in person though.

Not doing it now, totally just something I stumbled upon doing some post-finals computer cleanup.

So just to make sure we're on the same page - me=STFU because it's a total non-issue?

Yep, even if they did call your former employer they wouldn't disclose enough about your being there for them to figure out you lied.

How's that? What are former employers supposed to be able to disclose?

They can disclose anything they want as long as it is true but many only disclose verification of employment since they don't want to get sued for libel/slander.

I thought they would verify dates too? Or should I just let it go?

Also just to clarify, I meant for the Bar C&F, not law school apps.

Still no issue?
