Where is the current Vault 10 placement information?

I'm looking for information along the lines of:
http://lawfirmaddict.blogspot.com/2006/ ... ement.html
http://www.top-law-schools.com/archives ... =1&t=61294

I am sure I'm not the only one who's interested. I think any Vault placement information would be of value for this thread (V5, V10, V25, etc.). If you provide information, please specify the effect of clerkships on the Vault placement data.

Please, no NLJ 250 information - it's everywhere.

I don't know where you'd get the most current/complete V10 specifics but a good start would be the list of aggregated 2012 incoming SA class distributions. See: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 3&t=172119

As you can see. Harvard, Columbia and NYU absolutely clean up in NYC, but of course they are also both the biggest size wise and have the most amount of kids targeting the big NYC firms - unlike SYChi .

Simpson NYC: approx 83 total: NYU (10), Harvard (6), Columbia (6). [HCN comprise ~27% of the total STB NY incoming class this summer]

Skadden NYC: approx 67 total: Columbia (14), NYU (10), Harvard (7). [HCN comprise ~42% of the total Skadden NY incoming class this summer]

Davis Polk NYC: approx 124 total: NYU (23), Columbia (16), Harvard (19). [HCN comprise ~47% of the total DPW NY incoming class this summer]

S&C: Harvard 20, Yale 14, Columbia 13, NYU 8

Cleary: Harvard 26, Columbia 20, NYU 17

Thanks drbarry987! I didn't realize how well HCN placed in New York. Might be a selection bias as well.

Alternatively, does anyone have any info on the V5/V10 selection criteria for the T3 or T6 schools? e.g. an offer requires median grades + WE; median grades + personality; great grades + nothing else; etc.

FWIW, I am non-URM and I don't have any mindblowing accomplishments (yet).

Way too much selection bias, and small sample size to make that date valuable.

You should start a thread asking for median callback GPA. But even then v10 isn't a great distinction. Either you at at a school and have grades already, in which case you should be looking for your schools data from career services, or you at a 0L and you probably should be considering what happens when you don't do so well in school.
