Post-Biglaw

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, it looked like the best available choice.

Since the vast majority who enter biglaw don't make partner, what happens to them? Do they all lateral to smaller firms? Is there (or was there, in better economic times) a robust market for hiring Biglaw washouts?

They either continue to be attorneys at other firms, go in-house to companies, or find another line of work.

Specific stats are hard to find, but just from TLS/web/stories, it sounds like recruiting BigLaw associates is up a bit. But it sounds like the pre-crash days were crazy and associates were being recruited by head-hunters a few times a week.
