I keep getting emails from these people saying I got a scholarship to do this law preview thing. Should I consider it?

Did you apply for the scholarship? Are you sure they're saying you got it?

Yes they are saying I got the scholarship....but it seems like is is basically a summer course that is sort of an "intro to law" and most law students say not to prepare over the summer because it is a waste and it is better to relax. So i was wondering how all this plays in and whether it will really be helpful

Hi,
I'm doing a law preview at Loyola Law. It's only 2 weeks and regular classes begin immediately after. I think it will be a nice transition. However, I love mock law classes and things like that.

It won't hurt, but it's not a huge help either. If you're a worrier or generally very oblivious as to what law school is then I think it will help. They did give a good pep talk about study schedules which scared the shit out of everyone. I didn't follow their plan at all (i.e. put in far fewer hours of study) and did pretty well though, so take the advice with a grain of salt.
