It's a black box for most. If you're well liked by certain members, though, you'll have a chance to glean some insights.Gerry B wrote:What is the process by which the Va. L. Rev. picks their new managing board?
Do you mean writing on through the journal tryout or getting a note accepted in one of the pools? If the latter, I wouldn't really be able to offer much. A Notes Editor would be more qualified, but none of them frequent this site.uvahooo wrote:What is the note on process like? Competitive?
I'm a revered figure at the Virginia Law Review, friend.DoctorGloom wrote:Go home. You're all washed up now.
It feels better now that I'm done. My enthusiasm for the legal academy has markedly waned in the past year.rad lulz wrote:How does it feel being one of the only people who will EVER read the articles people send you?
I believe that no matter what any particular member of the Virginia Law Review feels about the Virginia Plan, it is extremely unlikely to ever be changed given the social backlash that would occur both on Grounds and in the blogosphere. Having said that, it's a wretched stain on the otherwise sterling reputation of the journal.Cavalier wrote:How do you feel about the diversity plan?

Can anyone confirm that this OP is legit and not just "trolling" or whatever you call it? Or do we just assume he's being honest.
It seems fine. I think it's improved steadily since I arrived in the summer of 2009. The OGI that took place that year was a true bloodbath; don't be fooled by c/o '13 folks attempting to bemoan their situation.MrAnon wrote:describe the employment situation at UVA
