Is it reasonably possible to get a 4.0 GPA in law school?

What does a 4.0 mean? Can you put that on a standard 155 - 186 scale?

What!? I thought law schools used the GPA system just like undergraduate schools.

I'm pretty sure every truly elite school uses the 155 - 186 scale.

I think it's normally referred to as the modified LSATTT standard.

Horse shit. That's blatant anti-OU Law trolling.
OU Law wrote:The grades given in the College of Law and the numerical grade point value are as follows: A+ = 12, A = 11, A- = 10, B+ = 9, B = 8, B- = 7, C+ = 6, C = 5, C- = 4, D+ = 3, D = 2, D- = 1, F = 0. The grades of Incomplete (I), Withdrawal Passing (W), Satisfactory (S) and Unsatisfactory (U) have no numerical value and are not included in the calculation of a student’s grade point average. Certain courses are graded on a Satisfactory (S)/Unsatisfactory (U) basis. Students do not have the option of choosing to be graded S/U.

Will you sue your school if it's not possible?

For one semester? Or for the whole time?

Define reasonably possible.

Also relevant is how stupid everyone around you might be.

No. I'm sure Philosopher King will be pleased to report that since law school classes require an entire semester's worth of continuous and steady work rather than simply a single one-off crapshoot, law school classes are therefore a true and complete test of your abilities.

Ignoring the fact that your entire grade boils down to one big exam, ala the LSAT. but he'll sue for double time on that too.

  This thread delivers.

OP: Class rank is what matters the most, not GPA.

What is meant: I enjoyed reading this thread because of the jokes involved in it. Your threads are usually very painfully annoying, but this was mostly filled with humor.
