I'm not a URM but I can answer questions about living and schedules. As far as schedules go, my 1L fall semester I had classes from 9:10-3:07 with a 2 hour break from 10:20-12:30, Monday-Wednesday. Thursday and Friday each had a 70 minute LRW class midday.

This spring I have that same 9:10-3:07 schedule but now it's Tuesday-Thursday. Monday is 9:10-1:37 with the same 2 hour gap in the middle. Friday still has 70-minute LRW class midday.

Other sections have different variations on this but that's typical of what you should expect to find; classes start in the morning and end in the afternoon, Fridays have a very light course load.

As for for living, you'd need to further define that term. Cost of living? Quality of life?

I don't find the work to be that debilitating until finals. I can't imagine the work load is any different here, compared to other schools. There are 4 sections of 100, each is divided in 2 societies, each society is divided into 2 small sections.
