I find it cool, since I am a 2L at Chapman that this year's incoming class has the highest median LSAT and Median GPA of any previous Chapman class.
The median LSAT score is 158.
I don't want to site the Median GPA for fear that I don't remember it correctly, but it is somewhere in the neighborhood of 3.56 ish.

Haven't LSAT medians risen across the board in general?

I don't know the answer to that. All I know is that I would not be surprised to see Chapman continue to rise in the rankings given that their numbers are improving and the fact that they had an 82% bar pass rate last year.

The median LSAT score of this year's incoming class at Chapman is actually a 159, and the median GPA is a 3.52.

From what I understand, many law schools increased LSAT and/or GPA medians this year.

More students take the LSAT---> more of every score ---> same number of schools at the top and middle ---> medians go up
a rise in stats relative to the schools around you would make your ranking go up, but because schools are increasing their stats across the board, a rise in stats alone won't help you.

USNWR doesn't care about bar passage.

That would make way too much sense.

So far this hasnt shown true at the top schools. The percentages are based on the last 3 years and I dont think they are normalized by percentage after each test. So far it looks like there might be more of the middling scores but not a huge amount more of the top schools. IIRC, Duke is the only top school so far that has actually changed their median/75th percentiles.

This forum is meant to discuss "your" law school. If you don't care to hear about other's law schools, maybe you should peruse a different forum ferret boy/girl.

You've gotta love a school that uses the forecast as a recruiting tool...
