WTF?!? This is pathetic. Where's the integrity? I will no longer be applying to the law schools that do this.

It's an insult, and degrades the JD. I don't give a shit about your debts! Grow up you spineless bitches! You're supposed to be lawyers!

Similar posting just hours ago
Thanks for the link. Now I'll have to compile a list of bullshit schools to avoid, like USC and Loyola, Georgetown and NYU, etc, etc..

Why is this bullshit? They are trying to give their students an edge in finding a job. I'm not saying it is effective, but at least the sentiment is in the right place.

Perhaps, but what if all schools adopt this policy? Than everybody will have a 3.5 and nobody will be able to differentiate the talented student from the over-privileged and/or lucky-to-be-here MFA dropout

Reminds me of how there was rampant grade inflation in the undergraduate system during Vietnam to keep kids from failing out and getting drafted and subsequently grades stayed inflated after the war.

I'll give you a hint the ones graduating from schools like Loyola-LA, Pace, Barry, Georgetown, Syracuse, etc are the ones you don't want to hire.

My prediction is that employers will focus on class rank when GPA becomes useless.

All students aren't ranked at all schools.

I hate to put it this way, but that depends what you mean by integrity. I can't hate on a school for going to bat for their students, even if it is a bit shady.

while i respect your concern for truthfulness, if a issue like this does bother you greatly i suggest you do some more research in regards to the legal profession because i can assure you there are things wayyyyyyyy worse than this(i presume you think think this is bad) that go on daily in law
