I'm currently enrolled in a summer contract course. Our midterm is about 3 weeks away. Our professor told us today that he's going to grade our exams base on our ability to perform lawyer-like analysis. What does that mean exactly? How do you prepare for something that's so arbitrary.

My friend said she'll give me her LEEWS.

Also my prof just mentioned that he's not planning on giving any A's. So the highest grade will be A-.
Some students say it's because he doesn't want to give out C's. Does this make any sense?
