In regards, to travel cost. On their Legal Scholar brochure included with the letter reminder (and in the acceptance package) it notes airfare is covered up to $500 and Gas will be reimbursed at .567/mile up to $300. It also notes that lodging is NOT covered but have arranged a discounted price at a local hotel for $99/night if your looking to stay close to campus.
Hope that helps those who didn't get or bother to read the letter

You'll get the invite soon enough. It also covers 2 days of car rental.
I'm impressed, actually, by how much more generous they are than others.
Speaking of their generosity, does everyone admitted at McGeorge get a scholarship offer? I received a substantial one, and everyone I know who has applied there or attended there has received a scholarship offer. They make the second-year scholarship contingent on finishing in the top 1/3 of your class, however, and I've heard speculation that this might be one reason McGeorge students have a reputation for being more competitive than those at higher-ranked UC Davis. Not that people shouldn't have to compete for scholarship money, but it seems that people should know what their odds of paying sticker in 2L or 3L are.

There is no established, school-wide curve. It varies from prof-to-prof. I think there is a sort of unspoken mandatory curve though... most profs do not give many As.
In with "honors at entrance" and the conditional 12k/a year deal + books. I'm seriously considering the free flight to Sac! Never been to the west coast before =)
I just received an email from the financial aid office. Does that mean I'm in? Or do they just email me for fun?? My status checker doesn't say anything though. Do you guys get emails from financial aid office as well?

I got the email too. Same boat...no change on the online status check.

If you dont mind, can I ask your numbers?? I hope it's good news for both of us!
Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.
I also received an email from the finaid office. I don't know if it means anything. I think they might just send it to all the applicants. I hope I'm wrong on this one.

Me too. Hopefully it's not because scholarship money has run out and they want us to get $$$ where we can...?
