I will most likely be attending. I was looking at I think USC lofts in Colombia.

As far as housing, I'm just searching through Craigslist. Most people have told me that Rosewood or Shandon are good places to live. I'm not sure if USC has a house hunt/roommate match (I think they have some housing listed though).

Hey everyone, for those of you accepted congrats! Everyone else keep on thinking positive!
I'm a current 1L here and looking for someone to take over my lease at The Retreat. I love it here but my girlfriend is going to come down so I need to find a place that can accommodate both of us. You can check out what the housing looks like by going to the retreat website
http://www.retreatcolumbia.com/ or just google the Retreat Columbia.
It's a 10 minute drive to the law school and down past the football stadium.
If anyone is interested please let me know here so I can get the ball rolling before the leasing office finds someone else who may want it
You get the discounted price that I signed the lease for which is $619 for a furnished house and a $50 utility cap (anything over you would pay).
Thanks a lot and congrats again.
Go Cocks!

As a housing update, I know someone who owns a 3 bed/2 bath house in Rosewood they're offering for $1350. I also know another person offering a 2 bed/1.5 bath on the 12th floor of Senate Plaza for the same price, but with all utilities included and one parking spot. Message me if interested.

Does anyone know if there is a facebook page for admitted students? I haven't been able to find one.

Same. I know there's one for 2016, I'm just not sure if an individual sets it up or if the school does.
Edit: Looks like an individual. At least, I assume the admin is the one who created the page.

Does anyone want to start one? I am strictly on facebook on my phone until the fall so I can't but I would love to get more input on housing from other future classmates.

Possibly will be attending. Sending my deposit today. Still holding out hope for one more school that I'm on hold with that's deadline is still a few weeks away. If I don't get in there, I'll be in Columbia in the fall.

If someone does make a Facebook group, post on here to let us know. I'm stuck at work and I don't think I could make one off of my phone.

That is my issue. My laptop crapped out on me in January and I am avoiding purchasing a replacement until August.

I was going to start a FB group, but apparently you need friends to start one
If anyone wants to PM me their real name, we can be the best Facebook friends and start a c/o 2017 group.

I've been thinking about it! I've heard people coming out of it feel far more prepared.
