Hey guys,

Is anybody else making the trek to Malibu this fall? I must say I'm pretty excited and can't wait to soak up the sun and meet some new people.

Just accepted last week

I found an admitted students open house on their events calendar on their website, does anyone know if it requires an RSVP?

In the acceptance package they said that it will be April 11th and to expect more information in March. The RSVP may come at that time, if one is required at all.

In by email a couple days ago and a call from a professor yesterday. I'm excited!

What if you accept the offer, pay the deposit, and then change your mind, and decide to go to another school? Can you back out for any reason prior to June 1st? And, are the other law schools you apply to or were accepted to notified that you accepted an offer?

I imagine if you back out, you lose the deposit ($300 I believe) . I'm sure you can back out for any reason, you will just lose the money.

I'm pretty sure you are responsible for withdrawing all of your other applications to other schools- I don't believe there's a blast notification to all of your applied schools that you've picked a school to attend.

could someone just post the link because I'm clearly missing it...

Have posted elsewhere, but wanted to post here as well. 1L currently there who has done well overall and pretty involved (don't want to give more away and lose what's left of my anonymity) but if you have any questions about the school/law school in general/how to succeed let me know!

Thanks! Any advice on off-campus housing? The best that I'm seeing for 1 bedrooms is about $1500-1600 for 600 sq ft, and about a 15-20 minute drive.

And did you do anything for 0L prep?

Hi all! My roommate and I are current Pepperdine 1Ls (28 yo female and 27 yo male) and we are looking for a summer subletter/new leaser for the third bedroom in our condo for the 2014-2015 school year. The room is opening up the weekend of May 10, which might be ideal if any of you are doing the accelerated program or want to move out here early. Our awesome 3/2.5 condo with lots of nice features is located near the north end of Las Virgenes in Calabasas (10.9 mi from campus). The bedroom that is available shares a bathroom with 1 roommate and is $769 + 1/3 utilities. I have two kitties, so no other pets ideally. Seems like they aren't approving anyone! I hope they aren't like looking through people's profiles or something haha....I got into one of my other school's groups in no time.
