Is anyone else having trouble with their xmail account forwarding to a real email account? I use the Gmail app on my phone and it would have been nice to read the August letter last week rather than find it sitting in my inbox when I checked my xmail this morning.

I still haven't figured out how to do mail forwarding, it's a large pain in the ass. I just log onto the web app using my phone's browser unfortunately.eliminatorjr wrote:Is anyone else having trouble with their xmail account forwarding to a real email account? I forwarded my xMail to my Gmail for a little while and didn't like it so I switched it back. But the point is, it's possible. You have to set it up from the Gmail account.eliminatorjr wrote:Is anyone else having trouble with their xmail account forwarding to a real email account? You can also have your xMail sent directly to your phone if you have an iPhone. Maybe it works with other phones too but I wouldn't know.

Note there are two LRW times. You will be in one or the other, depending on your Bigelow section.

Section assignments don't come out until next week at the earliest.
You won't know what books you need until after that, because you'll have one of two professors for each class.June Letter wrote:You will receive your section assignment and course schedule for the Autumn Quarter shortly after Labor Day.

Can't say I loved seeing a pre-orientation homework assignment in the letter today (due the 12th).

You should plan to dedicate approximately five hours over the next two weeks to prepare for your
speech. PLEASE NOTE that will need to submit an outline as highlighted below.
Once you’ve created your outline, please submit it by midnight, September 12
(Friday) at http://www.edu

I hope someone submitted that status as a response to itself.Regulus wrote:Hahaha you also are good with the ninja delete, midwest17. I really want to post that thing because of how derpy it was, but I am also afraid of the repercussions it might have. It is almost ATL worthy.
Also, please post the full letter mentioned above. And wtf is this speech you have to write? Do you all actually have to give speeches during orientation? Need details!

We have to give a 5 minute speech without any notecards or visual aids/powerpoint because having notecards would not permit our natural "style" to come through (according to UChicago).Regulus wrote:Hahaha you also are good with the ninja delete, midwest17. Jesus Christ I would totally just not do this. What are they going to do. "No, we don't want your $70,000 for each of the next three years."
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
