It was nice of them to get acceptances out relatively quickly, and with scholarships no less.

Anyone from previous years have experience with negotiation? Do they give more than in-state tuition + 10k/year?

When did you apply? I sent in my application in late October and didn't receive anything about my application being complete until a few weeks later. My status is still "Being Reviewed"

I'm in-state + $12,500/year. Not sure exactly how much more they'd be willing to negotiate/if they do full scholarships etc....

I completed 12/2 and was accepted 12/11. Got my packet in the mail last Saturday and that had the scholarship letter in it.

Checking in. I'll probably make the move to Athens if Vandy doesn't give me any $. WUSTL and Emory with $$ could be tempting as well, but UGA is my #2! Hard to beat its employment stats at a relative bargain price.

Hey guys I am retaking in February but I'm currently sitting at a 3.9/163 and I'm in state. I'm wondering what those numbers could net me scholarship wise. I won't be applying until next cycle.

Anyway congrats on the admits/choosing uga. It is my number one and will likely stay a top choice even with a great retake.

I have similar numbers (slightly lower GPA) and got in-state plus $5k/yr.

Thanks for the reply. Can anybody give some insight into the numbers it takes for the law scholars program at uga? I can't find much information/ recipients

I'm a rising 1L next year, and I have one bedroom available in my two bedroom two bathroom apartment at University Tower. It has hardwood floors and it is on the seventh floor, and each bedroom has its own bathroom and large closet. The rent is 550, and it is right across the street from the law school. How long did it take you all to get your acceptance packets? It's been almost two weeks since my status checker said "Congratulations!" but I still haven't received anything.

i think i may be going, it says current students are offering us places to stay. are yall thinking about doing that?

Some other people got them as well earlier this year I believe. Apparently, the scholarship people met recently to increase some people's awards. Congrats!

I'm registered for the reception, I just have to book a hotel room now. My wife will be coming with me so I don't plan on staying with a current student.

I got trolled by UGA today. I was hoping for a scholarship increase in the mail because I saw that others were getting them. I go open the mailbox to see a letter from UGA. I was pretty excited because I thought it was a scholarship increase letter. Turns out it was just a letter from the dean.
