I am also still deciding (but I am a joint degree applicant, so there are factors unrelated to law school). Regardless, I am so thrilled to have been admitted.

What on earth does 'half-semi' mean? 25%? I should start using this.

I am still juggling whether to apply for a joint degree.
My essay is almost done and I have 10 days to decide......

You're looking to do a JD/MBA right? I want to do a JD/MA but don't want to take the GRE due to some special circumstances. They told me that if I start the MA after I'm already a JD student, they think they can waive the GRE requirement. Have you talked to anyone about starting the joint degree program, or are you going exclusively based on what the internet says?

Yep. I took gre back in March and I am applying with my gre score.
Can't really make sure whether you can waive the GRE. Have you emailed the admission officer?

I emailed the admissions person for the MA in East Asian Studies program. Taking the GRE for me involves a 20-hour train ride and a month's salary as a Peace Corps volunteer, so I told them it's impossible. She said the joint degree program can be started whenever but I do have to apply for it, but she made it sound like they will work with me once I'm on campus to make it happen. She was really reassuring that the administrative red tape can be worked through / ignored. At risk of sounding arrogant, I think I'm a more qualified candidate than most for that program (as I'm sure we all are for most programs), so she was pretty eager to make sure I understood it'll work out.
Sorry for being so long-winded. I'd email whoever you can / want to get more information. I think a lot of programs are willing to bend the rules for law students.

I agree. Sadly MBA is not one of the bend-in program
Ye, I would suggest you apply in 1L. You should have plenty of time preparing for GRE.

Well best of luck to ya

I'm just trying to make my future class as awesome as possible. I'm sure you'll be super happy wherever you end up. HLS vs. SLS is a good problem to have.

Does anyone know what the ASW schedule looks like? I'm starting to plan travel and book flights since I'll be coming from the East Coast and am trying to figure out when to arrive/depart.
Thanks!
