Have heard of multiple judges interviewing and hiring today already. Guess no one really cares about the plan as much anymore.

Wait until tomorrow. Weird that there are so many reaching out today, but that doesn't necessarily mean everyone (or even a majority) is doing so.

My impression of the early movers has been that they tend to be the feeder judges who “follow” the plan insofar as they wait to extend offers until this week, but they interview/offer on Monday with the tippy top candidates. So it’s the most competitive judges interviewing the most competitive candidates. To be frank, it doesn’t really impact your average applicant aiming for an “average”/non-feeder clerkship.

have also heard of interviews today before 12pm, which is odd. I guess judges are starting to go the OCI-route!

I would expect the more selective COA and feeder-level judges like Boasberg to have already moved and have interviews/offers be completely done within the next 24-48 hours.

There have been a flurry of offers in DDC. I've heard about a few of the newer judges giving out a few offers. TBD over the next 24 hrs.

I was offered an interview at 9am ET today from a judge in a small city, so some are definitely hustling to secure clerks.

Some certainly do move during the second week, but I’m not sure how many.

At this point, the most competitive clerkships all have called and extended interviews. The shinier DDC/SDNY did their interviews over yesterday and today. The same is true of many of the more exclusive appellate judges too, but it’s harder to generalize about the circuits. If you didn’t get an interview, you’re likely out of the running with them.

But there are many other judges and many of them move at their own pace. Like with everything in clerkship hiring, it’s difficult to generalize.
