Nightmare Typo Scenario

Just realized that my cover letters to date have all included a typo. It's one that could be missed without a careful read, but still damning.

I know one of my applications is definitely toast at this point (I emailed it, so no clawing that back). However, I've mostly applied to judges in districts that universally haven't moved yet, so I've begun updating my applications on OSCAR to replace the cover letters with fixed versions.

Did I catch this early enough that I might have saved myself here? Or am I likely screwed with the judges I've already applied to?

In case stats are at all important to answer this question: T50, Top 10%, LR, Moot Court, Federal Judicial Internship

I (similar stats as you and applied broadly) made a typo too, replaced my cover letters on OSCAR, and had no issue with getting offers. I am sure some judges saw it and tossed my application, but it didn’t matter in the long run.

I got a COA clerkship with a giant typo in my resume; you'll likely be fine.

Got an SDNY clerkship with cover letter containing glaring typo in first paragraph. Also got additional interviews with cover letters containing same typo. You'll be fine.
