Has anyone heard back from Williams and Connolly? If so, when did you apply and when did you hear back?

For what it’s worth—none. But would be interested to hear if others have seen any movement.

How long after applying through the portal have people heard from Gibson?
Rejected about a week later, no screener. HYS top 20% circuit court clerk
Similar credentials, same outcome. Applying for NYC. The ding email said something about limited current needs in litigation, which would track with the other post about not hiring clerks in NYC.
Gibson DC at least had a historically large summer class in 2022. Between that and the state of the market, I bet that explains why Gibson DC at least would not be hiring any/many clerks.
Yikes things seem grim for clerks if Gibson isn’t recruiting many! I applied almost two weeks ago and haven’t heard anything.

Which office? I heard that the LA office is not looking to hire anyone, at least right now.

Radio silence from Susman after first round interview (which was two weeks ago).
I know of at least three people in the same position and haven't heard of one person being offered a true second round (i.e. speaking with attorneys at other offices from the one you interviewed with) or getting an offer. This all speculation by my guess is they're interviewing/sitting on candidates until they get a sense of the entire pool and will cull it down for second rounds. The normalization of Zoom interviews seems to mean firms can interview more people without significant costs to the firm so they may be granting more first round interviews than previously.
Susman dings have started going out!

Does anyone know what the callback-to-offer ratios are like at top NYC firms for post-clerkship hires? (thinking Cravath, Skadden, Paul Weiss, S&C, etc.)

Oh, weird, it looks like the link I used is no longer working.

https://www.wilmerhale.com/en/careers/l ... candidates

I wonder whether they either (a) stopped taking applications for judicial clerks that are not IP-focused, or (b) they realized the original link was too broad and their needs really are just IP-focused judicial clerks.
